Support for git history?

I recently found that there was a --git option when doing a clone, but it didn't do what I thought it did (just interpret the url as a git repo). However, supporting git history would be a really nice feature so that sapling repos could be used with popular extensions/tools like gitlens and such.

I remember reading the .git folder could potentially interfere with sapling, but it would be really nice to use some of the features from some of these other tools that depend on git.

@adzenith Yea it's basically a dupe. I just wanted to get confirmation whether or not anyone was working on it!
