After updating my iPhone to iOS 16, I'm always getting errors when trying to use idb:

$ idb list-targets | grep Booted
Barteks-iPhone | 00008101-001611D026A0001E | Booted | device | iOS 16.0 | arm64e | No Companion Connected
bartek at Barteks-MacBook in example on use_protobuf
$ idb boot 00008101-001611D026A0001E
Failed to run ['--boot', '00008101-001611D026A0001E']

And that's all.

  • idb-companion revision: 1.1.8, from homebrew

I know this post is old but does anyone here happen to remember how it was resolved? I see it just now.
