Goals

Critical issue daily affecting all facebook users and all facebook apps reported here https://github.com/facebook/facebook-android-sdk/issues/1216 has no answer several months. What happen with this repository? Is it deprecated or abandoned? Releases section https://github.com/facebook/facebook-android-sdk/releases hangs on old version 16.0.0 from February (although in branches I see newer versions). Changelog https://github.com/facebook/facebook-android-sdk/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md became very useless/unhelpful - just link to commits diff without seeing breaking changes directly in changelog etc. It looks like one man show this repository not repository of such big company like Facebook.

Expected results

Facebook employees take care about reported issues. I do not expect to be fixed immediately but it not acceptable that in issue there is no reaction from Facebook for several months.

Actual results

Facebook ignores reported issues at all.
