What happens with opencollective?

Now that create-react-app is deprecated, what will happen to its funding?

https://opencollective.com/create-react-app funds should be drained, disbursed, refunded, and the account shut-off, yes?

I open this mostly out of curiosity, as I wrestle with topics of open source offramps within my book

Great question, we'll need to discuss with the OC admins and see what makes sense for the ~1k in the account.

Well, I probably should not be considered an admin for that OC any longer as I have not been at FB/Meta for 3 years now. I will contact Open Collective to remove myself.
