Remove "Happy Hacking"
I've been trying to teach new developers React for all of its obvious benefits but "Happy Hacking" comes across as highly unprofessional and frankly insulting.

Remove it!

"You've created your first React app. Well done! Get you for getting this far!"
Don't be so serious, Chris! It's not related with the negative idea some people -and perhaps you- have associated with hacking. Take a look at the wikipedia article about hacker culture to get an insight on why this is part of CRA 🙂
Hackers are not bad actors, but people who have fun tinkering with stuff -- in this case, code.
If you are finding it offensive or unprofessional for some other reason, please explain with more detail so we can understand!
I agree with this post. I understand what they mean by 'hacking' but it's not the way most people use the term 'hacking'. I don't necessarily think of hacking as bad either, I just find it unprofessional and inaccurate. I think most people would agree that hacking means using something for an unintended purpose. I'm not hacking anything when coding in React.
Why not 'Happy coding!'... that covers "hacking", professional developers, and hobbyists all in one!
I'm new to this field so I may be way out of touch... but you cannot deny seeing that sentence can be off-putting to at LEAST newcomers to the field.. and there are more newcomers than ever.
@smcspirit We use the word "hack" all the time, and here are a few common examples: "hackathon", "hardware hacking", "HHKB", "GNU Emacs is a fully hackable system", "Nyxt: the hacker's browser.", or when you call the Free Software foundation, there's a recorded audio of Richard Stallman saying: "Thanks for calling the Free Software foundation, sponsor of the GNU operating system, ..., Happy Hacking!".
