Hi @Dimitar5555! We have actually already inquired about using alltheplaces in our ESRI partnership. There are some open issues regarding this though. FIrst, alltheplaces data would need some sort of CICD process to run occasionally and push data to the hosted ESRI API.

IIRC, when we first brought this up a year and a half ago it was hard for the ESRI folks to tell how to get a 'good' extract of all the places data out of the hundreds of spiders it uses to gather info.

We looped Ian Dees in a while ago and the idea has been bouncing around. @bhousel, anything else I should add?

Nothing else to add - It's definitely an idea that would be great to deliver on if we had some more time to pursue it 👍

An update! In the latest weekly build, the AllThePlaces data is now available in PMTiles format. Thanks @iandees! https://github.com/alltheplaces/alltheplaces/pull/5765

PMTiles support means anyone can view this data as a custom layer in Rapid now, similar to the Overture data (see also #1005 / #1016)

Try it!: https://rapideditor.org/edit#data=https://data.alltheplaces.xyz/runs/2023-09-02-13-32-00/output.pmtiles&map=17.77/40.61867/-74.42286

They offer a JSON API that gives the latest PMTiles and other URLs, so it probably wouldn't be hard to add a button that checks that API and then adds the latest PMTiles URL to the Custom Data section.
