Problems with Sidebar Functionality on Mobile: Navigation and Zoom Disruptions

Description

When trying to open the sidebar on mobile, it now redirects to the previous page. When it does function correctly, expanding or closing the sidebar causes the map to zoom in and out (see the mobile Chrome screen recording for details). The Search feature is also not showing until zoomed in. I like the UI discussion in #1497
