Add check for minikube or minishift startup to ensure nip.io DNS works

I was stuck at the startup because my router was blocking private IP responses from nip.io. If the startup script could try a simple request and see if it fails to get a response, then it could warn the user that this might be a problem they are facing.

If you write a /etc/hostfile with the translation you don't have to make the extra miles :-)
