Where can I get a startup guide for contribution?

Hi, I'm totally new for this. I have followed the readme to startup the web-console and no lucky. It seems lots of things that I must config before running. I can access the web page using the port 9000, but there is no data there and furthermore, it cost my cpu 99%. why? I have read the index.html and found Main.BodyController in it. Where can I find the definition for this? Is there any doc for the project structure?
