have to pause when add a new toggle box otherwise cursor jumps back to the start and messes up the text

I have searched some keywords such as "laggy" "Pause" and doesn't find any related issues.

Recently it becomes very laggy and have to pause for maybe one second for the todo counter to count the box after adding the [ ] Cmd+Enter, otherwise the cursor jumps back to the start and messes up the text.

I feel like this problem appears after I update to the latest version.

Does anyone has the same issue and how do you fix it? I really appreciate!

I find that this does not only appear on me and some of other users have the same issue.

I find that typing Chinese adds the lag.
