Backing up account results in ban from Telegram

I had backed up all personal messages and the script moved on to supergroups when all of a sudden '401: USER_DEACTIVATED' Here's the screenshot:

If you value your account at all I do not recommend running this tool until something is figured out as to what is tripping the autobans.

How long were you banned for?

You're the first one I hear of who got banned while using my tool... Were you banned in all apps or just this one? Did you do anything else regarding Telegram at the same time that could have triggered it?

I wasn't doing anything else on Telegram. However, my Telegram account was more than two years old and it pulled more than 700,000 messages from the server before I was banned. The ban was 24 hours and probably would have been a lot longer had I not been really noisy to support about it.

Nothing more than a coincidence. This utility just cannot cause this issue.

I'd say so, too... I know of people with more than 1.5 million messages, so just the number of messages shouldn't be critical. And you're the first and only user I've heard of with that problem...

I do have some contacts to people from Telegram's support team. I'll contact them and ask for more information if / how this could happen.

I've heard nothing new. Neither from Telegram, nor from other people being banned.

I want to use this tool again, but I'm wary of having my account suspended. Have you heard anything from the support people?
