Any Chance I take over the repo?

I have written an email to @fab13n but got no reply. I have been exploring the project for quite a few days and I really want to move this project forward, if this issue is not responded, I might go ahead and make a new repo and go from there? Not sure. But I would really like to get a response and just do it from here.
