GLB texture from PNG only shown with --raytracing

Open Rheinwalt opened this issue 3 years ago • 9 comments

If I just open the GLB without any options no texture is shown. When enabling ray tracing it works as expected, but with on-board graphics on my notebook that's painfully slow. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? My model is a reconstruction by OpenMVS (353M scene_dense_mesh_texture.glb, 244M scene_dense_mesh_texture.png). Google's model viewer renders these just fine.

I'm on Arch linux with f3d 1.2.1.

Best, A.

Sure, you can download them here:

scene_dense_mesh_texture.png scene_dense_mesh_texture.glb

If you're patient you can also see how model viewer is rendering this here: aljoscha.geo.uni-potsdam.de

I confirm that the texture does not appear correctly, everything appears as white without raytracing.
