Wildcard
Current feature allows one to see all courses in a specific course code for example, see all dependency for ELEC. A wildcard could be useful for students who are searching for specific upper/lower year requirements to fulfill their degree, especially for science. The wildcard could apply to both the course number and type. For example one might want to see what 4th year elec courses are available: ELEC 4*.
Consider science students who often have to take a minimum number of credits that are 3rd/4th year. They might opt for * 3* to see all 3rd year courses accessible to them at present given the courses they have completed.
Furthermore, users should have the ability to filter out a subset of courses while browsing the tree. For example, listing only a certain year, or listing only courses that are prerequisites of some course, or listing only courses that are degree requirements for some program, while still having the ability to easily switch back to browsing the entire tree.
