Tried your config without any modifications. 

@Iron-E I debugged `buffer#get_name` and here's what I got: `init.lua` displays correctly if opened after `chadrc.lua`, and I also printed the paths returned by `vim.api.nvim_buf_get_name`. I guess need to add...
