textpath where the xlink:href attribute has a path do not render

xlink:href attributes with a path e.g. (/analysys/1#pathId as opposed to just #pathId) do not render.

Here's a dropbox link to an example that illustrates the problem. The circle on the left is the svg element, which has the text and the circle on the right is the image element which has lost the text.
