How to compile .exe file?

Hi,

How should the .exe file be compiled? I ask you because result .exe file when I compile in release and debug mode is only 18 KB but the file in dist repo folder is 4.01 MB.

+1 i am also running into this issue. Trying to wrap my head around how to generate the EXE file on my mac with dotnet cli.
