I need Help.
I tried to open the app that was working before. It failed. It was version 0.25.4. I updated to the latest v0.25.5. Still fails.
I extract the folder, I click TIDAL-Downloader-NG.exe in the folder with all the other content, it starts up for ~3 seconds in the task manager as a background process, then it disappears without a trace.
I have no antivirus apart from windows defender. I tried completely disabling that as well, same issue. I also have Portmaster as a firewall, I disabled that too and it did not help either. I have 0 idea what went wrong.

you need to make sure you can create the folder C:\Users\username\.config\tidal_dl_ng with 2 files (settings and token)
@orbittwz I just created the two folders you just said. They are empty, as I didn't have anything like that preveously, plus the toke. was taken from the official Tidal application.
two folders? it's one folder named "tidal_dl_ng" sorry the markdown is corrupting the path above, it's ".config" folder in your username folder. EDIT: there, fixed the above path
