OBS crashes while recording + storing replays on disk
Hello,
I would love to share with you the issue I have.
System configuration
- i7 9700K + Nvidia RTX 2070
- OBS (v 23.1.0 64 bit)
Installed plugins
- Stream Effects for OBS Studio (v 0.6.3.0)
- obs-ndi (v 4.6.0)
- obs-websocket (v 4.4.0)
- replay source (v 1.4.1)
Scenario configuration
-
OBS Configuration: Output Ecoder: NVIDIA NVENCH H.264 CBR = 10000 Keyframe interval = 2 Preset = Max Quality Profile = High
Video Base (Canvas) Resolution: 1920 * 1080 Output (Scaled) Resolution: 1920 x 1080 Downscale Filter: Lanczsos (Sharpening scaling, 32 samples) Common FPS values: 60
-
replay source configured to store 5 clips of 7 secs & hotkeys set to 'Load Replay' and 'Save File'
Scenario
Preparation
- Scene prepared with a ReplaySource and a white bar for cropping (configured to capture scene 2)
- Gameplay scene with camera (capture from Capture Card : gampley through Xbox One)
- Final scene where I insert the first scene (composite replay) but with a size transformation (to make it smaller)
Expected result
- By pressing the hot key, replay source records (and holds in memory) my replays AND saves those replays in disk
- When I go into scene 3 I should see those scenes
Actual result
- By pressing the hot key there is a chance in 2 that I OBS crashes.
These is a copy of the log dumps: dump_0.txt dump_1.txt
Could you please help out pointing out the source of the issue? I am actually testing while recording BUT in an ideal scenario I wish to be able to actually record AND stream at the same time while saving in disk my replays.
Thanks for your help.
I am too seeing this behaviour. Crashed my stream multiple times last week, all when trying to invoke Load and Save at the same time.
