OBS will force close on scene collection change when audio move is used on a scene

Title.

I had some issues with OBS taking very long to exit and force closes when switching stuff around. Seems like using a whole scene for audio move creates some issues.

This is on OBS 29.1.1 and plugin on 2.9.1

I hope this is the correct log file I just took it from my forum post. 2023-05-13 14-25-32.txt

Same here. It happens for me since 2.8.1 long time ago (if this is a hint for Exeldro). After a lot of testing, I could reproduce that force close in this conditions:

  • You apply the audio move to a multimedia source that also has video. I couldn't reproduce using audio only source. AND
  • This source is present in more than one scene
  • You change scene collection or try to close obs.

I retested creating a fresh new scene collection, adding a multimedia source (with video) and referencing it in two scenes, and applying a "Move audio" filter in it. With just these simple steps, you can reproduce the issue.

Consider downgrading to 2.8.0 until fixed. I did and everything works again if not using "Move action" (which was fixed later).
