Plugin isn't recognized in latest OBS version

Hi,

I'm having problems loading the plugin in OBS v.28.1.2. Tried the latest version as well as 2.6.1 and some lower but it can't be loaded. No error popups, it just won't show under the Scene Transitions menu.

Any upcoming update for this version? Thanks!

Note: I have StreamElements installed on top, could it be a reason?

The same here in a blank OBS 28.1.2.

Is it not showing when you click the plus icon on the transaction dock? Is it showing in the obs log file? Is move-transition.dll in the correct plugins directory?

Hi exeldro, no, it is not showing when I click the plus icon although it is in the log-file. So it should be in the correct directory. 2022-12-05 13-10-17.txt

I know - I had it in OBS 27 working... Now it looks like this: OBS_NoMove

@jjpoelli "Verschieben" is the german translation from "Move" If that is not correctly translated please let me know and I will correct it in this file: https://github.com/exeldro/obs-move-transition/blob/master/data/locale/de-DE.ini

Oh Boy! Didn't think of that! Sorry! :-) Actually would be better to keep the English "Move" instead of "Verschieben" :-)

Hi, thanks for the great idea of that plugin! I can’t use it so far, as it doesn’t show up in the transitions list. I’m using OBS 28.1.2 on macOS 13.1 on an M1 Max MacBook Pro. In the log, it says:

[Move Transition] loaded version 2.8.0
---------------------------------
Loaded Modules:
  move-transition
  vlc-video
…

The dropdown menu looks like this:

dropdown

As for the German translation: “Magic Move” in Apple Keynote is translated as “Zauberei”, which only conveys the “Magic” part. In Microsoft Powerpoint, the corresponding transition is called “Morphen” in German.

Do you have an idea what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks! Take care – Lorenz

@pripple the menu you show are the transitions that are in your current scene collection, to add move to that you should use the + button just under that dropdown

Yes! That does the trick! Thank you!
