Feature Request: Add Audio Monitor Filter to a scene

Open Fred-DTV opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Hey @exeldro

I came across an idea when trying to monitor all of my video clips:

Would it be possible to add the filter to a whole scene? So It would play out any of the scene items in that scene.

thanks!

Audio filters on scene are tricky as all audio sources are treated as "global" source.

This has been requested in the past : https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/per-scene-settings-audio-quaestion.43497/ https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/add-audio-filters-to-scenes.150173/ https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/custom-audio-mixing-per-scene.71572/

One way to achieve that is to use the "track" > set all element of that scene to a track, monitor this track. It is a bit hacky but the only way I have found for this similar need.

It might be possible, but only by doing the same audio mixing as OBS does within this plugin.

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but an Audio Monitor on the scene would just send a single "MAster Scene" audio to the monitor. That's exactly how I would see it working
