Context

The jupyterlab-markup package, which has a pinned dependency herein as jupyterlab-markup~=1.0, has upgraded to v2.0.0 with possibly breaking changes.

Proposal

Upgrade dependency & check no breakages result from it.

Just checking: has this been published to pypi? pip install jupyterlab-myst seems to still enforce jupyterlab-markup-1.0.

Btw, my aim: use jupyterlab-myst together with JupyterLab >=4.0 which brings better support for jupytext's markdown notebooks.

It has been published as a pre-release: https://pypi.org/project/jupyterlab-myst/0.1.7a5/

I've been reluctant to publish a full release without testing, but I might just go ahead and do it soon anyway as we probably don't have a large user base given how few bugs are getting reported ;)
