timing and memory estimates for `jupyter-book build`

Open avivajpeyi opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

I am trying to build a book website with ~4500 pre-process notebooks. I have execute_notebooks: "off" in my configs.

The writing output % is useful, however, I do not have a good indication of how long this might take.

writing output... [ 3%] content/toi_notebooks/toi_2175

Additionally, I noticed that the RAM usage increases with time. Is there an estimate I can get on the total RAM needed? Or is there a config that prevents this RAM increase with time and just uses a constant RAM amount?
