Inconsistent handling of double characters (e.g., sharfes s) in Collection Panel

There is an opposite problem of #564 with characters that may be expanded to two characters (e.g., sharfes s):

Other Fictional Artißt - First Album - 1 - First Song Other Fictional Artisst - Second Album - 1 - Second Song

Only one track shows under the artist node (although it appears to be combined and believes it has two tracks).

This time around, the sort tag value used for node comparison expands the sharfes s into double s, but the search tags used to find underlying tracks do not.

As a side effect of missing expansion in search tags, searching for "ss" in the above example will not find the track that is currently displayed, but will find the other one:

So perhaps this issue should be solved by adding character expansion to search tags as well.
