[🚀site]: proposal to replace "needs contribution" message with something less annoying
A couple of months have elapsed since the addition of the "Contribute to ESL documentation" popup. However, contribution requests are infrequent, even when they're straightforward (no requests were made at the time of writing). Additionally, the notification itself tends to be more bothersome than informative. Psychologically, users would prefer to encounter something "light" and non-intrusive rather than a popup that disrupts their current view. Consequently, they often rush to close it without fully reading it, as it obstructs their access to the information they're seeking.
Instead of the current popup:
I propose the following:
This way, users won't be disrupted while reading the documentation. If they have spare time or can't find the required information, they'll encounter our notice/request to contribute.
--- Discussion Notes ---
- Alternative idea: left interactive icon for the contribution information. Use animation (e.g., marquee ('running line')) to passively engage the user.
