This is going to be rough without revamping how forms are done because of the need to refresh the access ID options based on what container is selected.
This continues to be a frustrating problem....
@dranii, new features go into 1.11 at this point. And I really age this could improve things.
What if we could make it BC? E.g. make the new structure opt-in (would mean supporting two structures until 2.0).
We could have something in the plugin manifest that opts the plugin in to the new structure.
There would be no special handling of viewtypes during the view registration phase, only during rendering.
