Encryptpad is great so thanks to all developers but is it possible to add the ability to select text and background colour? Thanks

EncryptPad uses the system wide style and color settings. Here is a screenshot demonstrating dark background - link.

Thanks evpo, but it turned out to be a bit of a mission and then didn't seem to effect EncrypPad background. Any chance of an app specific custom setting?

Sorry for closing this, I'm still obviously learning the ropes. Hope this stays open now

Sorry I should have mentioned I was using win10. I have since found this... Win10’s Personalization settings (Start/Settings/Personalization) let you adjust the colors of the start menu, start button, taskbar, and various other items — but not the background color of apps such as Notepad. at http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/how-can-i-change-background-color-my-apps-windows-10 which explains why I can't make the change.

But even if I could it would still be nice to have it in the Preferences and be independent of system settings.

I agree. Color settings individual to EncryptPad are nice to have.
