HERO5 Session support

Are there any plans to support the HERO5 Session? My camera is bricked after a failed firmware upgrade and I can't use the warranty (due to problems with customs in my country).

Hello. Hmm.... I have never looked at a Session camera, and I honestly haven't planned on it. But, maybe we can come up with something. I need to ask around at work first, and make sure they're OK with me working on something like this. I love my new job, but unfortunately such things take time.

Do you know what the problems are with customs? Have you tried to call GoPro and ask what they do in these situations? Maybe they could find a way faster than I could write something...

By the way, what is your camera doing? Does it fail to turn on completely, or does it display any kind of message on screen?

Hello. Thank you very much for your attention and congratulations to your project. It's fantastic and it is helping many people. Messing with the GoPro firmware during upgrade seems to be very common.

Well, I just submitted an issue to the project at GitHub to let you know that a tool for the HERO5 cameras would be very helpful if it is released someday.

[OFF] About customs: I bought my camera when traveling abroad and I didn't declare it (tax free) to the customs when I returned home. Now, if the camera leaves my country without me, I should pay more than 100% of its value in taxes when it returns. That are customs laws in my country and I think GoPro can't help me with this (unless they pay the taxes). I called local GoPro support and they don't know nothing about customs taxes (their support center is recent here).
