Extra newlines in list

I'm seeing some extra

elements in the following input:

1. blah blah
  1. blah 
  1. blah blah blah

1. blah

With most previews, this renders as follows:

1. blah blah
   1. blah
   2. blah blah blah
2. blah

But I'm finding that markdownjs injects an extra

around the "blah blah blah" line:

1. blah blah

   1. blah

   2. blah blah blah

2. blah

I see this in the ouput tree too. The last list item or the one that gets indented gets ['para', 'list']
