I suggest you start by investigating the `getAllBookmarkFolders` method. You can also run this from the console and set breakpoint.

I have the same concern. Maybe we could make this side-effect more obvious with some different language like "Mark all as read/visited", but I honestly don't like that phrasing myself....

By "Bookmarks" do you mean "Bookmarks Menu"? If you open bookmarks sidebar (ctrl+b) can you find BBC? Otherwise I am out of ideas.
