Supporting pyparsing 3

I understand there are no current plans to support pyparsing 3, but was wondering what is the effort required or what is needed to support this. Is it a full rewrite of the package? Do you have the changes mapped out? We are using pyparsing 3, and would like to enjoy the performance improvements, so might be able to help with the work.
