Make it possible to play without logging in?

Would be nice if it was possible to play the Gender Game also for us unwilling to associate our knowledge of various politicians with our twitter/github/etc accounts? In other words, is it possible to contribute without logging in using a third party service, preferably without logging in at all. I would prefer it if the game state was stored in a cookie in my browser instead of being associated with an account.

Unfortunately we need to have user accounts as the key goal of the site is to allow us to aggregate together the information supplied in order to be able to report on the gender information with a reasonable degree of confidence.

We'd certainly accept patches to add email-based logins, rather than requiring a third party service, though.

Well, I suspect it is possible to get reasonable degree of confidence using cookies without asking the volunteers to give up their privacy and personal information, but do not plan to spend time to prove it. I'm already involved in too many other projects, so I will just not play instead. I doubt you will notice the loss. :)

Bumping this: a couple of emails following attention on a recent Hacker News item have also asked for this feature.
