Charging doesn't start while there is a lot of PV surplus
Describe the bug
SMA 4kW on Phase 2 Generating 18A of solar Alfen, Alfen L1 is connected to Phase 2, Alfen L2 is connected to Phase 3, Alfen L3 is connected to Phase 1 EVCC set to charge on 1 phase Nothing happens, huge amount of feed (more than 3kW) but EVCC does not start charging
When I turned on my airconditioning which is also connected to Phase 2, the feed in dropped and EVCC started charging. --> EVCC sees the 18A of feed in as loadbalanced used amps I think

I am aware of that, apologies, but that is not the issue here. It is not 2A per phase but 6A per phase resulting at least minimum 6A aka 1.38kW or for 3 phases (since the signal is equal for all phases) 4.1kW
The charger also didn't charge with minPV or fast.

Please try diagnosing yourself. Did this ever work, what did you change, does changing back help, does it worb without load balancing etc.. its up to you to find out what makes it „not work“. We simply dont have the capacity to do this 20 times a day…

Thanks, i completely understand and want to help.
It did work, it was never noticed because at peak solar consumption a lot of times there was already a bit of "drain of the overpressure" on that phase due to the fact that there was a load consuming some of the PV energy.
Only now the car was plugged in the middle of the day while PV was generating full power (18A) with almost no other consumers on that phase.
Therefore my conclusion is that load management is incorrectly "seeing" the amperage as ++ while it should be considered -- because it is available power.

The grid meter delivers them (or at least EVCC somewhere "knows" either by the fact that the value comes in as a negative number or somebody wrote logic to take the negative kW sign and put it before the Amps) that it is a negative number, but in the LM functionality it apparently considers the number only, without the negative sign.

We aggree. As I wrote, the loadmanagement is working with the original sign from the meter ( in your case always positive) and not with the calculated sign, based on the phase powers sign.

The problem is the grid meter. It delivers unsigned currents and unfortunately the inverter only feeds into one phase. Due to these circumstances, the main circuit prevents the charging from starting.

Thank you. Spotted the bug. Reading sign-corrected currents from loadpoint works fine but reading directly from meter seems to be missing phase correction.
@andig your changes are pushed to the nightly this night, correct? Tomorrow I should be able to run the meter command again on your nightly and I should see the change, correct?

For reference, Andi, I hope this confirms your fix, I am now seeing this in logging: (my interpretation of logging is that your fix works: negative power consumption 👍 and now the amps are also showing as negative 👍 and the maximum observed roll up value of all phases is now the highest mathematical number 👍 , not the absolute number as before 👍 )
