Add notification mechanism
It would be great if we had the ability to notify users:
- of general event independently from releases (like updated package repo, special offers if we ever have them)
- hints for the new release, new features, changes in functionality
Hints should only be shown once and maybe be later available on request.
evtl ne blöde Frage, aber wie könnt ihr etwas an mein UI schicken? (oder hab ich den mechanism falsch verstanden)
Maybe something like "News" in the same menu where Configuration, Charging sessions and stuff is with an unread counter and behind that a list of the news that can be read or marked read with "new" tags as long as the news isn't marked as read.

No?! 👀 Everyday, multiple times here 😆 .
Sending native notifications to iOS and Android is sadly not that simple. You need a developer account. An all that costs money.
As a temporary workaround I used https://pushover.net/ They have a free mobile app. You simply send an HTTP request to their endpoint and then a notification appears in the app on your phone. Very handy!
