Norwegian pixel offers no feedback when there's problems

With the console missing (ctrl-c), any problems with running the norwegian pixel are impossible to diagnose. See: http://www.polargraph.co.uk/forum/polargraphs-group2/drawing-techniques-forum4/norwegian-issues-thread488.0

Add some feedback messages in the firmware or Reinstate the console or both.

v2.2.2 adds a console of sorts.
