Hi Abe, is there any built-in mechanism to indicate missing data in the incoming timeseries?

No, but it might not be too hard to add that. You'd have to infer the resolution for any given series though, since the series can be of any resolution (so it'd have to be able to tell the difference between a low resolution and missing data)
