Polyakov loop in time direction

Open florian-burger opened this issue 12 years ago • 3 comments

Measurement of Polyakov-Loop in 0 direction seems to be broken (at least on BG/Q). Can be overcome by switching to explicit "polyakov_loop_0" function instead of the function "polyakov_loop_dir"

@deuzeman This was originally written by Urs I belive. Do you think he could take a look at this at some point?

Hehe. I'll ask him!

How exactly is it broken? A wrong, but reasonable result? NaNs? Segfaults?

No, it just give zero all the time. In the finite T transition region it should rise though (that's why I noticed). Maybe gauge invariance is broken?
