snmplabs.com still down
Is there a plan to get this fixed?
I generated the docs and put them on at https://pysnmp.readthedocs.io as a temporary solution.

Thanks for this solution. Do you have access to any version of the MIBs stored at https://mibs.snmplabs.com? MIBs from other sites like https://circitor.fr sometimes cause problems when used with pysnmp.
@avazquezrd I found mibs I needed on https://web.archive.org/web/20200215074721/http://mibs.snmplabs.com/asn1/
@simonfagerholm I have tried that, but only 70 MIBs are available. Maybe for many users it is enough, so thanks anyway. Do we know if the developer (@etingof) maintains support for the project? It seems that its activity has stopped for a few months, I hope he's okay...
@avazquezrd I don't know the status of @etingof, I have tried contacting through the hosting but no response yet. Like you say he's been inactive for some months, so I hope he is ok given the current situation. Which MIB is missing for you? Probably the easiest is to fix the errors, that's what I think has been done to the ones hosted on http://mibs.snmplabs.com
There are a few MIBs missing in my case 😅. For example, from HP I have not seen any (available captures are listed here), but don't worry, as you say, it will be best to take them from another site and fix the errors.
I grabbed a copy of all the MIBs a few months ago, I kept this repository private out of respect for the developer (after all, its their work) - but given circumstances I've made it public:
https://github.com/projx/snmp-mibs
If you're using mibCompiler to pull MIBS, point them to (It works quite well)
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/projx/snmp-mibs/master/
Once they get the site back-up, I'll make it private again.
Hey @projx,
sadly we saw that the mibs.snmplabs.com site isn´t reachable anymore. So we decided to recover as much as we can for the community. Thanks to you, we already tried it to recover it with the wayback machine. So if you want to look at the site click here, or when you got any improvement that we have to do, in your opinion, contact us.
http://mibs.thola.io/asn1/
works.
I would add that this now links to malicious website... Either the link needs to be removed, or this needs to be fixed.
Hey @james-powis, this link lead not to a malicious website, we recovered the mibs.snmplabs.com from archive.org backup and tried out best to recover everything whats in relation to snmpsim, because the project seems not to be continued anymore. We´ve already contacted @etingof and sadly we didn´t get any answer from him.
So just to inform you this is not a malicious website, its just an site which holds the mib textfiles that @etingof uploaded before his website went down.
Best regards, Lostboi
You can keep an eye on https://github.com/etingof/pysnmp/issues/429 and https://mibs.pysnmp.com.
I believe that @etingof passed away.
