Repository availablity
I haven't tested the software yet, and didn't even look into a review video on YouTube. I only got interested very recently.
I appreciate the amount of supported Linux package version. However the right way to do this would imo be:
- Nix
- Guix (if possible, it might only allow open source in the repo)
- Flatpak (ideally on Flathub)
- AppImage
These are the userland package managers which can be used on most Gnu + Linux systems. Flatpaks are big, but maybe regarded as most secure option. I would assume Nix might be the best option for accessibility, for devs and users.
I look into how it works for potential visitors to use a Web3.0 service first, before I would even be interested in anything else. Because, even in the best case it would be difficult to motivate users to download something to access some sites and other services.
