Mist wallet v0.9.0 v0.9.1 and v0.9.2 syncing problems

Hi Guys, over the past few week i have been (attempting) to use the mist wallet v0.9.0, i originally used it on a windows 7 x64 machine and everything looked like it was working ok, transferred 0.1 ETH to test it out and it was received, however two days following that transfer i cannot get the wallet to sync up, i have attempted:
saving a copy of my key store folder, deleting the chaindata folder, re-downloading the entire chain.. which takes ~3day. now i have a balance of 0 ETH and there are still blocks to sync, i realise that my transactions may have occurred in later blocks ok thats fine. I have also tried using version 0.9.1 and 0.9.2 on the same Windows 7 x64 machine.. still i cannot get the wallet to sync up completely.. there are 15,299 block remaining and it just sitting there doing nothing.
i have also tried using mist version 9.2 on a clean install Windows 10 x64 machine, fully downloading the chain (again another 3days) adding my wallets from my original keystore folder (off the windows 7 machine), Still my balance is 0 ETH and im hanging at 15,330 blocks left.
i have also tried opening ports 30303 and 8545 on my router.. no change. disabling windows firewall.. no change.
what the heck is going on with MIST ? i now have a couple transaction coming to that wallet address and i fear i will not ever see those funds..
any help much appreciated.

this is my first try on eth, now this...
I startet mist 0.9.1, downloaded the chain, while waiting i was using this fancy GUI to set up a passwort and transfer BCH over shapeshift to ETH, then i go for an walk, come back, see the finished client. Then i think il tryed to interact, but no response, i closed and opened it again, now i am stuck, network error and nothing more.

OK dammn, i solved it while reading, simple admin rights are needed.... still stupid...
i think my test transaction is lost, i dont know how to get back to that adress, i dont know where the date is saved, when it is....

@3BABY try using "Sync with Light Client (beta). It will sync all the blocks and give you access to your wallet funds. Please let me know if it worked.
@Arenoosh "Sync with Light Client" worked, i was able to receive the funds that were sent,.. and i was able to send them out to another wallet. However, when i close Mist (for 1-2 hours) and re-open it, im still at the same position where the wallet will not sync up, even with "Sync with Light Client" selected, and connected to some pairs..
im sorry, but is the Dev team cannot get their flagship wallet syncing up reliabily then there is a problem. its a nice wallet, it works great (when it works) but if people cant see funds reliably then people wont use it.
Im now using a different wallet until Mist is fixed..

I do have other issues on MIST but this is not one of them.
My Sync is also stuck on block 4,370,000 ever since I've updated to the latest version of mist v0.9.2
@3BABY try to use https://www.myetherwallet.com i have dropped there the UTC/JSON files, to found unter C:....Ethereum\keystore Name is something like this: UTC--2017-10-18T22-04-23.702607200Z--769c686295fb6fab589c80c1bcef169f1683baa4
Drop this to my ether wallet, type your password, acces our eth, no Chain to download or shit....

MIST is a shit wallet, no good options, no button so save chain files some where else, i would not recommend that shitty software
@FreeRide23 if you use MIST only as a wallet....yes...it's a lot of headache and makes no sense to waste time trying to understand it and make it work. But MIST is not a wallet itself and the tools MIST offer worth trying to fix the errors and use it. ;)
I seem to have the same problem. Stuck at 4,369,888 in Mist v0.9.2. Geth Version: 1.6.7-stable
Tried removing my chaindata and syncing from scratch with geth, but it's stuck at the same place. I'm assuming this is related to the Metropolis fork since that happened on block 4,370,000.. Any tips on how to get past this is highly appreciated.
Edit: Updated geth manually to version 1.7.2, and it seems to sync further now.
Ok I managed to get it to sync past 4,370,000.
Using Ethereum Wallet 0.9.2 on Windows, I uninstalled everything, but kept my Ethereum (geth+keystore) folder. Then, I installed new wallet, with temp Ethereum (geth+keystore) folder, let it run a few minutes till it started syncing. Finally I exited the wallet, and replaced the temp with my original Ethereum (geth+keystore) folder, and opened the wallet again. It started syncing!
Im stuck on the lite and reg version for over a week wont sync. Tried all new versions. Anyone know how to get it to sync?
I'm inclined to agree with these criticisms. I have regularly found Mist unusable as a wallet on Windows due to issues syncing. Right now I am using 0.11.1 and it won't let me send Eth since it is showing I don't have the balance available, the issue is that it is not synced yet again. It is in light mode and swarm is enabled. Since they were available I use the .exe installer package and GETH is current/ not requesting an update. It is a sad state of affairs for a key Ethereum wallet. I shall have to use an alternative yet again.
