Last quarter we shipped a new feedback widget (https://github.com/ethereum/ethereum-org-website/issues/6252) integrated with custom surveys across all pages on ethereum.org and started collecting data.

This quarter we will focus on:

  • [ ] - Validation and analysis of your responses to formulate useful insights to improve ethereum.org
  • [ ] - We’ll build data studio reports to help with the analysis of data
  • [ ] - We’ll consider how we might publish these research findings as a public good to the Ethereum product community.
  • [ ] - We will also use this data to influence our content strategy decisions and priorities.
  • [ ] - Last but not least we will also improve the visibility of the feedback widget on the desktop

Update: performed user testing (7 participants) at ETHCC in Paris. Scope: Find wallet page and What is Ethereum page.

status update: most task have been done. We are cleaning the data currently so that we can open it to the public later. There is still one task in progress - updating the widget UI which has been given to the community to work on and anyone can help us with it: https://github.com/ethereum/ethereum-org-website/issues/8298.

We have gathered lots of useful feedback from the community. Thank you all who have given us input through the feedback widget (#6252). The feedback widget will continue to be open on our website. Our Q4 roadmap as well as new page process have been influenced by the insights concluded from the feedback. We will continue to monitor user recommendations as well as start benchmarking individual page performance based on the received data.
