Growth Champs is a year-long, subscription-based collaboration model that introduces a strategic approach to fundraising, maximizing the impact of every effort through interoperability and reusability of the produced content over the prolonged period of time. It is a tried and tested mechanism that tackles the inevitable uncertainty of the outcome, inherent to the grant application process as such, by allowing reduced effort in proposal development in each successive application. Besides that, the strategic layout of the model allows you to benefit comprehensively from our innovation funding expertise, exceeding mere proposal development, and enabling us to unleash our full potential in service of your fundraising. ➢ Fundraising Workshop for Team Members (one-off) Introductory workshop to define KPIs, collaboration structure and dynamics ➢ Content Review (one-off) Detailed analyses of the existing fundraising materials such as pitch decks, business plans, onepagers etc. with comprehensive set of suggestions for improvement ➢ A2F Community Ticket (year-round) Access to information and quick Q&A channel in real time ➢ CFP Screening (year-round) Breakdown of all available calls, open and forthcoming, with adequate eligibility criteria ➢ Project-CFP Fit Assessment (year-round) Assessment of compatibility of your project idea with particular CFP requirements ➢ Rejected proposal analysis (year-round) Detailed analyses of the rejected project proposal, with comprehensive set of suggestions for improvement ➢ Proposal development support (year-round, one proposal at a time) Real time support via comments and suggestions throughout the proposal development process ➢ Fundraising strategy development (one-off) Comprehensive FR strategy with action steps, based on lessons learned throughout the collaboration period A2F Strategic.pdf

Motivation and Overview

A2F will support the fundraising efforts for the Baseline Protocol to find grants and donors that align with the standard and community’s values and objectives.

Value to the Baseline Protocol

The Baseline 2023/2024 Technical Steering Committee has agreed that having an experienced professional join the Baseline Protocol community to help with fundraising efforts will be very valuable. The significant development effort of BRI-3 , which is in the final milestone progresses the standards group to the next phase of beginning the interoperability effort. This effort will require funding to support development and roadshow efforts. A2Fs support in fundraising is a necessary focused effort to achieve interoperability and continue driving the standard towards adoption.

Downsides / Execution Risks / Limitations

The following potential risks are possible:

• funding isn’t secured due to various factors in the economy and fundraising spheres
• A2F will rely on the TSC for support on the project specific content and requirements for the grant sources
• Payment prior to year completion, to mitigate: grant recipient will be required to notify the TSC in writing if terminating the work and refund for remaining months.

Deliverables / Schedule / Milestones

Provide information on the final deliverables, proposed schedule, and milestones that you and/or your team will follow to complete the work Each month, A2F will attend 1 of the TSC calls for 15 mins to report back on the work, assign action items, and sync.

Budget and Justification

4000 euros for 12 months of support. 5% of amount raised. 12 months is necessary given the nature of grant cycles and to execute on goals.

The yearly subscription will be approved for payment for approval of this grant request.

Applicant Background

Sonal is submitting the application on behalf of A2F. Ilija Stojanovic shared documentation to the TSC members on a call in March 2024 and sent resources to the TSC to review prior. A vote was casted in the Slack channel to approve this request. http://www.a2funds.com/
