No notifications
Been using Lock Manager for over a year and it’s worked flawlessly. I stopped getting notifications months ago and have tried many things. I’m assuming it’s all related to the removal of contact lists, but I’ve tried everything I could find to fix and I’m stuck. I do not get push notifications at all. I followed all of the directions here: Removal of Contact Book Feature, I have made sure that I have updated all my smartapps in the IDE.
Any other ideas? Thanks.
Having same issue here, reinstalled everything! no changes. Could it be my lock? I only get notification if I unlock/lock from the app on my phone. Anything done physically at the lock is completely silent.
No notifications at all ? Does you activity feed indicate that the lock has been manualy unlocked or locked .. do you see if any users has used the lock ? I dont receive any notifications whatsoever .. my activity log dosent update from external actions directly to the lock .. i just switched from wink .. wink was working flawlessly with my lock .. now im about to go back on wink for my lock
It shows no recent activities in the Recently tab and no notifications at all. But we do have people come in and out with passcode everyday. BTW We are using Schlage.
same here I have a Kwikset 910 been working flawlessly now no notification!!!
Notifications quit entirely here about two weeks ago. Kwikset 910 Zwave. Been working without any issues for two years and nothing. Still can create users-codes, but managing the property from 4 hours away the notifications stopping is the death knell.
I had the same problem, come to find out the issue is to do with the latest update to the hub that was pushed out. Something in the coding changed so custom device types like lock manager uses stopped working properly for notifications. You will have to go to his website and pony up some money like I did, but once I did this and followed the instructions I was back up and running again and getting notifications. It actually was more extensive in its abilities and even tells me now HOW the door was locked/unlocked when done manually.
Maybe Ethen can look at the code and integrate or use it to fix his code, but I believe he is no longer making updates which is why I had to jump ship after years of using it. https://smartthings.rboyapps.com/

Same here, Schlage lock, notifications stopped a few months ago. Still shows up in the activity log, but that even seems hit or miss
Use the Z-wave lock device handler and I received notification again. However, some in app commands no longer available.
Can this be added alongside the ZWave Lock Reporting or does that one have to be deleted? Will the locks populate the existing codes? I'm about 4 hours away from the property and I need to do this without having to go to the property because I can currently still add users and codes. I also have the older lock manager smart app with the child apps, how do I proceed with all of this remote?
@mooselodgeman if you use the method I did in my post above you should be able to do it remotely. I did have to re setup my codes from scratch but after everything was setup again I have been good to go. According to the instructions you would just need to make sure to remove all the lock code child apps used for this lock manager first.
Thank you gold007eye and Rboy. Tried everything to repair the ethayer app and nothing worked. Went to the Rboy site and paid the $38 for lifetime. The device handler and smart app went on like butter and it worked right out of the box. Much better solution for keeping this vital function on our rental.
