about the meaning of Eq. 11

Hi, Eq. 11 recomputes the new location by weighted mean of its neighbor bounding boxes and itself. I wonder that why the form of Eq. 11 is 'intuitive'? To me, the average of random samples of neighbor bounding boxes is more intuitive, i.e. image That is to say, the new coordinate is a sample which is drawn from the average distribution of neighbor bounding boxes. Please give more explanation about your Eq. 11 and correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
