Random Username Generation Still Used in Confirmation E-Mail

In the docs, your are given an option to simply use the user's e-mail address as their username. However, if you do as the guide says by generating a random.set of characters for their username and just having them login with their e-mail, they receive a confirmation e-mail, stating the random characters as their username, anyway.

Should be a way to mitigate this (ie: an option in the Dev panel to disable usernames in confirmation e-mails).
