Cannot import tasks (.ics) file through webapp or android app

Hello, I'm new to Github and submitting issues so bear with me. Every time I try to import a tasks file (in .ics format) to my Tasks Collection, either through the EteSync Android app or through the EteSync webapp, I get an error.

Specifically for the EteSync webapp, the error message says, "An error has occurred, please contact developers". Specifically for the EteSync android app, the error message says, "Processed 1181 entries. Added: 0. Changed: 0. Skipped (failed): 1181"

phone : Sony Xperia 5IV OS : Android 13 Etesync: 2.4.2

Could you help me figure out what is happening? Thanks.

I've also yet to successfully import any of my existing calendars or tasks, using either web or Android (etesync/android#249).

I either get An error has occurred, please contact developers. or Imported 0 items. trying different single-file .ics exports of my calendars from Radicale.
