Problem- when a device is unlocked, the app can be easily opened by anyone

Solution/Request- add biometric APIs and/or PIN lock (PIN better for anti law enforcement/govt requests) to restrict access to the app

This would be a must for any encrypted note taking app.

Hi Devs. I'm also really keen to use etesync especially for notes... but a secure app lock feature is essential for me. Is the any rough timeline on this feature?

No timeline. I think @zecakeh was thinking about working on it at some point, though I'm not sure if he started or not, as I'm a bit behind with reviewing his patches. :P
