Changing Assigned Calendar for Event not Possible using Calendar.app on macOS

Open lasscap opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

When I try to change the assigned calendar for an event using the Calendar.app on macOS with the etesync-dav bridge version 0.11. I get this error message: Screenshot 2019-09-06 at 16 41 28 Updating the time, name or location does not lead to this error. I can change it on my phone and then it is correctly synced back. The button "Try Again" just leads to the same error again.

To reproduce: I created the event "Test" in another calendar and then changed the assigned calendar to "Private".

Possibly a dublikate with #64

Thanks for reporting, haven't seen this one before. I didn't even know it was possible in CalDAV. I assume it was just a delete and re-add. Could you please run etesync-dav with -D and show the error you get there? Thanks!

Thanks!

Apps on Macs are actually zip files. You should unzip the .app and in there you'll have an executable called etesync-dav. Then form the terminal, in the same directory where you extracted it to, you can run: ./etesync-dav -D.
