Flux Crystal Disappearance / Rift Ritual failure?

I was hopping through rifts to raise ninja ritual, I already had infinite time lord and infinite flux crystals. My ninja ritual was at about 3-4k.

I don't pay attention to exactly when I click the beach, because why? Infinite crystals + rift ritual lets me ignore that.

Suddenly I saw that my ninja ritual was at zero and I only had 4 flux crystals. How on earth did this happen?

The only things I can see that would take up infinite flux crystals are buying black hole or time dilation in the shop, and I can't afford their blackprint cost (and they have'nt been purchased.) Anyone have any idea what may have happened? Does rift ritual fail at high levels or is there some non-bug that could cause infininte crystals to go to 0?

Edit: I can't reproduce it regularly, but it does keep happening.

If Ninja Ritual is at infinity, then acidentally clicking on the beach at the wrong time will trigger Ritual Rift, which will use Infinite FluxCrystals to keep the Ritual going. Your FluxCrystals will remain at zero until you activate harvest.

This issue happened to me before my ninja ritual hit infinity, as well as with at least one other person. It's no longer an issue for me personally since I already have infinite goats, but it still may be affecting other people in the ritual growing phase of the game.

Do we have any info on this happening outside the erroneous and I believe now fixed case from when Ninja Ritual would be set to Infinite instead of 10KWWQ?

Yes. When the temporal rift closes (i.e. green frame), clicking it with infinite time lord sets flux crystals to zero.
